Two UK-based streetwear giants are teaming up for their first-ever collaboration.
While their flagship stores in London’s Soho neighborhood have been down the block from each other for a whole decade, Palace and Maharishi are finally connecting for their first joint drop. The pieces combine Maharishi’s military and Eastern-inspired influences with Palace’s street-focused approach to skatewear, creating an offering that highlights the greatest hits of both brands.
Puffer jackets and windbreakers feature Maharishi’s DPM: KorOm pattern, inspired by the camouflage worn by Korean military trainees. Additional pieces, like the asymmetric track jackets and convertible cargo pants, nod to Maharishi’s archive of functional garments and feature Maharishi’s signature dragon embroidery. Details on these garments pay homage to early Maharishi product, from the color palettes used, to the reflective detailing and contrast zippers.
Accessories in the collection include reversible bucket hats, beanies, balaclavas, a ballistic Cordura utility bag, and a multi-purpose tool made to look like a military dog tag. For the 420 enthusiasts, the collection also features a ceramic dragon bong and two different tools to light it with—a turbo jet lighter and a micro torch.
The Palace x Maharishi collection lands Friday, February 28th at Palace stores, on the Palace website, at Maharishi’s London and NYC stores, and on the Maharishi website (UK only). Check out the campaign video (starring grime artist CASISDEAD) and lookbook shots below.
