New Jersey-based sneaker retailer Packer has teamed up with adidas to bring back a forgotten ’90s classic, the Intimidation Low.
Just last year, Packer and adidas revived the FYW Intimidation, a basketball silhouette originally released in 1999 as part of the Feet You Wear line designed to mimic the natural curves and shapes of human feet. Its distinct adiPRENE rubber cup sole unit shares DNA with Kobe Bryant’s adidas KB8 signature line, though nowadays it is recognized as the inspiration for the YEEZY 500.

Packer and adidas are now running it back with the reintroduction of the Intimidation Low. This low-top counterpart originally released as a running shoe, part of the adidas EQT line in 1999. Packer’s version comes in two colorways, one with a blue gradient across the upper and a cream midsole, the other with a grey gradient upper and a black sole unit. Both feature a TPU cage overlay, just like the OGs, though the three stripes on the side panels have been removed for a cleaner look.
The Packer x adidas Intimidation Low is set to drop in the coming weeks via Packer Shoes in-store and online. Check out the preview below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
