Salehe Bembury and Crocs are continuing their “Art Friends Thumbs Up Good Job” artist series with a new Pollex Clog created in collaboration with renowned contemporary artist Nina Chanel Abney.
Combining representation and abstraction, Nina Chanel Abney’s paintings capture the frenetic pace of contemporary culture. On her Pollex Clog, Abney showcases her signature Cubist-inspired style, applying a black and white checkerboard pattern on the right clog and her distinctive circular faces on the left. A touch of pink appears on the toe, outsole, and the NCA-branded tag on the backstrap, with additional NCA branding found on the footbed. Each pair glows in the dark and is offered alongside a set of socks in three colorways.
