Nike SB Dunk Low Pays Homage to the Seattle SuperSonics

Nike was born in the Pacific Northwest and still calls the region home with its World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. To celebrate their PNW community, Nike is dropping a new colorway of the SB Dunk Low inspired by the Seattle SuperSonics.

This SB Dunk comes in a red, green, and gold color scheme, the same colors as the team’s alternate jerseys that were introduced in 1999. Uppers feature nubuck construction with red as the base and fir green on the overlays. Side panels come with a white leather Swoosh with an embroidered gold outline. Underfoot, we see a white midsole and a gum rubber outsole.

But that’s not all. The tongues are made from a perforated twill to mimic the look and feel of actual basketball jerseys. Additionally, the heel panels are knitted and feature gold embroidered Nike branding.

The Nike SB Dunk Low PRM “SuperSonics” is slated to drop Holiday 2024 at select skate shops and possibly SNKRS. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
