King James & Prime Time Connect on the Nike LeBron 21 “Diamond Turf”

LeBron James and Nike Basketball are dropping a special edition LeBron 21 inspired by Deion Sanders’ iconic Air Diamond Turf.

Officially dubbed the LeBron 21 “Prime 93,” the shoe’s design mirrors the OG “Atlanta” colorway of the Air Diamond Turf, first released in 1993 and retroed earlier this year. Many key details from the classic cross trainer have been transferred over onto the LeBron 21 silhouette, including the midfoot strap, the mesh windows on the side panels, and the “Prime Time” tongue patch.

This LeBron 21 isn’t James’ first sneaker tribute to Sanders. At NBA All-Star in 2024, he debuted a “Prime 96” edition of the LeBron 21, inspired by the Air DT Max ’96. Nike also released “Diamond Turf” LeBron 15 in white and red colorways, and the F&F Nike LeBron 7 “Heroes” pack from 2010 featured three shoes inspired by Bron’s childhood idols: Michael Jordan, Penny Hardaway, and Deion Sanders.

The Nike LeBron 21 “Prime 93” (aka “Diamond Turf”) is slated for a May 2025 release on Nike.com and at select retailers. Grab a first look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
