Nike is dropping a “Black/Volt” colorway of the Air Foamposite One as part of its 2025 lineup.
Based on leaked pics of an early sample, this upcoming colorway is essentially a retro of the “Cactus” Air Foamposite One that first released in 2007. Both the 2007 and 2025 pairs come with black molded uppers, with more black on the nubuck eyestays and mesh collars. Hits of volt green appear on the mini Swoosh on the eyestay, the pull tabs on the tongue and heel, and on the outsole. The main difference is that the 2007 release had an opaque outsole, while this upcoming release features a translucent sole.
These “Black/Volt” Foamposites are also reminiscent of the “Green Goblin” colorway that released in 2011 as a House of Hoops exclusive. However, those featured a Neo Lime shade of green instead of Volt.
