Kappa x Acne Studios: Football Heritage Meets Avante-Garde Design

0

Italian sportswear brand Kappa and Swedish luxury streetwear phenomenon Acne Studios are joining forces for a new collection that combines football heritage with a unique blend of minimalist and maximalist aesthetics.

Founded in 1967, Kappa is worn by professional athletes and style enthusiasts all over the world. The brand’s apparel, footwear, and accessories—crafted for both sports and leisure—are elevated with the distinct approach of Stockholm-based Acne Studios, adding elements of avante-garde design to the sportswear styles.

The ’90s-inspired collaborative offering is highlighted by a selection of football jerseys—available in pink, black, silver, and blue tones—featuring a vertical striped design and accented with Kappa and Acne Studios branding. An organic, flame-like print along the hem adds a distinctive touch to the garments.

Denim jeans inspired by Kappa’s signature track pants feature the sportswear brand’s iconic Omni logo printed down the sides of each leg. A track jacket and wide-leg track pant are offered in all-black with white branding and metallic logo zippers. Soccer shorts come in pastel tones to match the colors of the jerseys. A white Bowlina bag is covered in the same flame-like print as the jerseys and features cleat-inspired studs on the bottom. Rounding out the collaborative offering is a soccer-style Lace-Up Sneaker, adorned with a flame-like TPU overlay.

The Kappa x Acne Studios collection will be available March 27th exclusively on the Acne Studios website. Grab a sneak peek below.
