MLB Opening Day has arrived. Designer John Geiger is celebrating the start of the 2025 season with the launch of his “Misplaced Series” collection in collaboration with Lids, MLB, and New Era.
The John Geiger “Misplaced Series” 59FIFTY collection consists of fitted hats for nine MLB teams: the Chicago White Sox, Miami Marlins, Los Angeles Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, and New York Mets. Each team’s logo appears on the front of the hat three times, a nod to Geiger’s series of custom “Misplaced Checks” Air Force 1s, which featured multiple Nike Swooshes on the side panels. A “Misplaced Series” patch is also featured on the right side.
The John Geiger “Misplaced Series” 59FIFTY collection launches April 5th at select Lids stores and on the Lids HD website. A special pop-up in Geiger’s hometown of Pittsburgh will take place the same day at 20 E. General Robinson St., with doors opening at 10am. Check out the lineup below.
