Following the release of their 2002R Leather GORE-TEX last month, JJJJound and New Balance are back with a new collaboration on the 993.
Justin Saunders and his Montreal-based design studio brings their classic earth-toned Mushroom palette to the 993, a reprise of the color scheme used on previous collabs like the 991, 992, and 990v3. A brownish grey hue dresses the mesh and suede upper, paired with a black N logo on the side panels. JJJJound branding appears on the back of the heels and on the insoles.
This collab will be releasing in two colorways. The first in “Mushroom/White” features brownish grey overlays for a tonal look, paired with classic silver reflective hits on the tongue and heel panels. Underfoot is a white/cream midsoles, and the shoe is equipped with white laces. The second colorway comes in “Mushroom/Black” and features black suede overlays, black suede tongues, black heel panels, and an all-black midsole.
The JJJJound x New Balance 993 “Mushroom/White” drops January 16th at 12pm EST on the JJJJound website, followed by a wider release on January 17th via the New Balance website and select retailers.
