Original Story (05/17/25): Montreal-based design studio JJJJound is set to to launch new collaborations with ASICS for Spring/Summer 2025.
The Justin Saunders-led studio once again brings its minimalist aesthetic to the GEL-KAYANO 14, dropping two more colorways of the silhouette as a follow-up to the two colorways that released in 2022. Both come equipped with white mesh uppers, black accents, and metallic silver overlays—standard features found on GR colorways—though each also comes with subtle details that set them apart from your typical KAYANO 14. One pair features baby blue accents on the sockliners, tongue loops, GEL pods, and outsoles, as well as a split white/grey color blocking on the medial midsole. The other features off-white midsoles, midnight navy sockliners and tiger stripes, and a touch of yellow on the outsoles. Both come with JJJJound branding on the lateral heel, replacing the standard GEL-KAYANO 14 branding.
In addition to the KAYANOs, JJJJound is also releasing a clean, all-white colorway of the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360. This version features a new upper that most closely resembles the Knit 2 iteration of the silhouette, though the shoe has been stripped of the iconic ASICS side stripes and replaced with a new knit pattern that somewhat resembles a double helix.

Update (06/03/25): Both colorways of the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 drop June 12th at 11am ET on JJJJound.com, followed by a wider release of the blue colorways on June 14th via ASICS.com and select retailers. The GEL-QUANTUM 360 will release at a later date.
