A.P.C. & Brain Dead Deliver 6-Piece Capsule

The folks over at Brain Dead are celebrating their 10-year anniversary by reuniting with their Paris-based friends at A.P.C. for a collaborative capsule. The new offering is comprised of elevated basics designed as a celebration of craft as a creative mindset, with denim serving as the main canvas across the pieces.

The six-piece capsule features Brain Dead’s signature denim styles, the boxy Type 00 Trucker Jacket and wide legged Type 00 Denim Pant, each cut and sewn in California using A.P.C.’s iconic Japanese selvedge denim. The jacket features alternating silver and bronze buttons, while both the jacket and pant feature red selvedge details and a co-branded leather patch at the back. Everyday essentials are also included, such as a grey fleece hoodie and white co-branded logo tee. Rounding out the capsule are two raw denim-clad accessories, a bucket hat and tote bag.

To celebrate the launch, the two brands have released a campaign video featuring their founders, Jean Touitou and Kyle Ng, playing a cover of Velvet Underground’s classic “Pale Blue Eyes.” This jam session was shot at the A.P.C. HQ music studio in Paris.

The Brain Dead x A.P.C. collection drops February 25th via the Brain Dead website (10am PST), the A.P.C. website, and select retailers. Check out the offering below.
