Bodega and Clarks present the third installment in their Patchwork Wallabee series.
Following up the “Heritage Patchwork” edition from 2022, the latest Wallabee from the Boston-based streetwear brand is an ode to New England, the greater Northeast Corridor region, and its textile history.
The Industrial Revolution in the US was kicked off by the New England textile industry, with many of the fabrics and materials born from the birth of this industry still in use today. This history is highlighted on the Bodega x Clarks Patchwork 3.0, whose construction features various fabrics commonly found on the garments of laborers, workers, students, and everyday New Englanders.
Tweed and houndstooth found on university sports coats, washed canvas direct from the work clothing that built up the area, and weathered leather essential to footwear to furniture manufacturing all harmoniously unite across the uppers. Additional details include boat shoe lacing along the collar, custom co-branded dubraes, and Clarks’ signature crepe soles.
The Bodega x Clarks Patchwork Wallabee 3.0 “Northeast Corridor” drops Thursday, March 27th at 12pm ET on the Bodega website. Additional pairs will be available on Clarks.com. Grab a detailed look below.
