Bodega & ASICS Are Back With a “F&F” GEL-KAYANO 20

Bodega is closing out the year with the release of an alternate “Friends & Family” colorway of their ASICS GEL-KAYANO 20 “Small Wins Add Up” collaboration from earlier this year.

No, you don’t need to personally know someone at Bodega or ASICS to purchase these, though you will need some quick fingers. As the name “F&F” implies, these will be available in very limited quantities, so act fast.

The “F&F” colorway come in a darker palette than its predecessor, with an earthy grey-brown hue covering the double-layered mesh upper. However, the neon green used on the sockliner is brighter on this pair, adding an extra pop to the overall design.

Bodega explains how this “F&F” came to be in their product description:

“When we released the Bodega x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 20 in September, the team was fascinated by the idea of compound interest. Not like they teach in Finance 301, but the kind set to the soundtrack of day-to-day living. If life is a marathon and not a sprint, it’s important to recognize that it’s those small wins that are going to add up to something great.

But that first domino can sometimes be the heaviest – wait someone write that down. So when we got the green light to release a small run of the GEL-KAYANO 20s in an alternate colorway initially workshopped during the design phase, we knew we wanted to share it with our friends, family, and loyal supporters. After all, these are the people that get us up and out the door every day.”
