The two adidas ambassadors are now uniting for a footwear collaboration that reflects the deep mutual respect between the two stars. It features the adidas Gazelle, a classic silhouette and one of Bad Bunny’s favorites, as evidenced by the two colorways he has already launched. The collection also features the adidas F50 cleat, worn by Messi throughout his playing career and widely recognized as one of the best soccer cleats of all time.
Both pairs feature a tan color scheme with gold accents representing Messi’s trophies, honoring his status as the best male footballer in the world. The ‘X’ on the heels reference Messi’s number 10 jersey, while the blue accents connect the designs to to adidas’ heritage. To coincide with the announcement, adidas has released a campaign video that honors the millions of Bad Bunny and Messi fans around the world. At the center of the campaign is a touching letter crafted from the heartfelt words of fans on social media, read by both Messi and Bad Bunny.
