San Diego’s Arts-Rec Presents Safari-Themed Nike SB Dunk Low

0

Original Story (03/26/25): Arts-Rec in San Diego is the latest skate shop to receive its own Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration.

The design of the Arts-Rec x Nike SB Dunk Low features an eye-catching mix of colors and materials. Rust pink nubuck is found on the toe boxes and ankle collars, while olive green tumbled leather takes over the quarter panels. The amber brown swooshes are done up in hairy suede, adding additional texture to the design. The boldest element, however, is the leopard print khaki overlays that add exotic flair, similar to the “Safari” Dunks. Additional details include “arts” and “rec” branding across the heel panels and “for recreational use” stamped on the lateral heels.

Grab a first look at the Arts-Rec x Nike SB Dunk Low below. These are slated to drop Fall 2025 via Arts & Rec, select skate shops, and possibly SNKRS. Stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.

Update (04/19/25): Check out new in-hand photos of the Arts-Rec SB Dunk Low. These pics reveal Arts-Recreation San Diego, California branding on the outsoles, four lace options, and additional hidden details. “Please Do Not Tap On Glass” and “Please Do Not Feed the Animals” messaging on the inner tongue tags are a nod to the San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park, as are the embroidered graphics of an animal fang and safari hat. If you take out the insoles and flip them over, you’ll find hidden graphics of a lion, rhino, and birds—the same animals that make up the San Diego Zoo logo. Stand by as we await release details.
