Jordan Brand is dropping a new iteration of the “Seoul” Air Jordan 3 as part of its Summer 2025 lineup.
The original “Seoul” AJ3 released in 2018 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of both the Air Jordan 3 silhouette and the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. Its design is based off the South Korean flag, also known as the Taegukgi, with a white leather base, accents in black, red, and blue, and the Taeguk symbol embroidered on the right tongue.
The 2025 iteration, dubbed “Seoul 2.0,” features many of the same design details as the 2018 pair, though with a twist. The Taeguk is on the left tongue this time around, the elephant print overlays now come in suede, the blue ankle collar is constructed from quilted fabric instead of leather, a satin finish has been added to the red sockliner, and the midsole has been yellowed for a vintage-style aesthetic.
The shoes have been spotted on the feet of K-pop star J-Hope, who wore them while sitting courtside at the Lakers game on April 3rd.
The Air Jordan 3 “Seoul 2.0” is slated to release on May 15th via SNKRS and select retailers. Grab an early look below and stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
