adidas Teams Up With NASA’s Artemis Program

0

adidas is set to release an extremely futuristic shoe in collaboration with NASA’s Artemis Program, an initiative to get “the first woman and the next man” up to the lunar south pole region of the Moon by 2024 (in preparation for future missions to Mars.)

The two have redressed the adidas ZX 2K Boost, one of adidas’ flagship Boost lifestyle runners, to genuinely look like a crew shoe from a spaceflight mission. The model comes in a lunar grey and features high-tech orange accents at the shoe’s forefoot and heel. When taken in combination with a metallic Three Stripes logo and chrome-painted Boost, the model is a clear gaze towards the Moon and beyond (though it’s designed to serve you best on Earth). The collaboration is finished off with printed lunar insoles, grey rope laces with colored aglets, and rubberized Artemis Program/NASA branding on each tongue.

While no release details are available yet, you can take a look at leaked photos of the NASA Artemis Program x adidas ZX 2k Boost down below courtesy of solebyjc (whose hangtag will not appear on the final model.) As always, stay tuned to Modern Notoriety for updates.
